Nalanda Court Recruitment 2025 (eCourts.gov.in) New Notification

The Judgeship of Nalanda, which was previously part of the Patna Judgeship, was established on 6th May 1978. The inauguration was done by Hon’ble Mr. Justice K.B.N. Singh, the then Chief Justice of Patna High Court. Nalanda District comprises three sub-divisions: Biharsharif, Hilsa, and Rajgir, with the headquarters situated at Biharsharif. Currently, judicial courts are operational only in the Biharsharif and Hilsa sub-divisions. In Rajgir, there is only an Executive Court functioning as of now, with no Judicial Courts established. The Sub Divisional Court at Hilsa was inaugurated on 21 February 1981.

The Judicial headquarters of Nalanda Judgeship is located at Biharsharif, with additional Sub Divisional Courts at Hilsa and Rajgir. However, judicial proceedings are conducted only at Biharsharif and Hilsa.
