Satna Court Recruitment 2026 (eCourts.gov.in) New Notification

The District Court Satna was established through notification no. 30525, issued by the Madhya Pradesh Government’s Law and Legislative Affairs Department, Bhopal, on 13 November 1969, under the powers granted by Article 233 of the Constitution of India. This establishment was made in consultation with the Governor of Madhya Pradesh and the High Court.

Shri Y. P. Pandit was appointed as the first District Judge of the district. Along with the appointment of the District Judge, an Additional District Judge, a Civil Judge Class I, and two Civil Judge Class II courts were also set up at the Satna headquarters. Furthermore, one Civil Judge Class II court was established in each of the tehsils of Maihar and Nagod.
