The Judgeship of Khurda was established on 26 August 1980. The inauguration was carried out by Hon’ble Shri Justice S.K. Ray, the Chief Justice of the Hon’ble Orissa High Court, Cuttack, in the esteemed presence of the Guest of Honour, Shri J.B. Pattnaik, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Orissa.
