Maharashtra CoOperative Court Recruitment 2026 (eCourts.gov.in) New Notification

The Co-operative Judiciary in Maharashtra operates as a separate entity under the Maharashtra State Co-operative Societies Act, 1960. It primarily handles disputes as per Section 91, concerning issues like society constitution, committee elections, and management. Initially, such matters were referred to the Registrar of Co-operative Societies until the 1982 amendment introduced the concept of Co-operative Courts, with judges appointed to oversee these disputes.

Maharashtra has 25 Co-operative Courts, all under the Maharashtra State Co-operative Appellate Court in Mumbai, which also has benches in Nagpur, Pune, and Aurangabad. Shri Shashikant Bhanudas Savale currently heads the Appellate Court, while the Pune and Aurangabad benches are presided over by Smt. S.R. Pawar and Smt. V.B. Kulkarni, respectively.
