Allahabad High Court Recruitment 2024: The Allahabad High Court (AHC), Prayagraj, has released the notification for the recruitment of various Group C and Group D posts for the year 2024. Candidates who are interested in these vacancies can apply online from 4 October 2024 to 24 October 2024. This recruitment includes several posts like Stenographer, Junior Assistant, Paid Apprentice, Driver, Tubewell Operator, Process Server, Orderly, Peon, and Sweeper. It is advised that applicants thoroughly read the advertisement and understand important details like eligibility criteria, age limit, pay scale, and syllabus before applying.
A total of 3306 posts are available under this recruitment process for District Courts of Uttar Pradesh. The recruitment is conducted as per the “Uttar Pradesh Civil Court Staff Centralized Recruitment 2024-25” rules and under the directives issued by the Hon’ble Chief Justice.
Allahabad High Court Various 3306 Posts – Grade-III, Grade-IV Apply Online
The online application process for Allahabad High Court’s Group C and D posts began on 4 October 2024. Through this recruitment, various key positions under Grade-III and Grade-IV categories in the district courts of Uttar Pradesh will be filled. Group D posts include Tubewell Operator-cum-Electrician, Process Server, Orderly/Peon, Farrash, Chowkidar, Waterman, Sweeper-cum-Farrash, Mali, Coolie, Bhisti, and Liftman. On the other hand, Group C posts comprise clerical cadre positions such as Junior Assistant, Paid Apprentice, Driver Grade-IV, and Stenographer Grade-III.
Candidates must note that the application can only be submitted through online mode. No other mode of application will be accepted. Additionally, only one application per candidate will be allowed. Specifically, for those applying for both Stenographer Grade-III (Hindi) and Stenographer Grade-III (English), candidates must select the “Both” option in the online form and pay the required fee for both posts.

Stage-I (Written Examination)
- The selection process includes a common offline written exam with 100 objective-type questions. Based on Stage-I merit, five candidates per vacancy will be shortlisted for Stage-II, comprising a Type Test and Stenography Test.
Stage-II- PART ‘A’ (Type Test on Computer)
- The Hindi and English Type Test for Stenographer Grade-III will be conducted after the Stage-I result. Candidates must type a 250-word Hindi passage and a 300-word English passage within 10 minutes each. The Hindi test will use the Inscript Keyboard layout (Mangal Font).

Selection Procedure
The selection process for Category ‘D’ posts consists of two stages of written examinations.
- Stage-I is an open competitive exam (offline) held at various districts in Uttar Pradesh, comprising 100 objective-type questions on an OMR sheet. Based on merit, five candidates per vacancy (category/sub-category-wise) will be shortlisted for Stage-II.
- In Stage-II, candidates will again face an objective-type exam with 100 questions on an OMR sheet. Shortlisting for Stage-II is based on Stage-I marks, with five candidates selected for each vacancy (category/sub-category-wise). Stage-II will be held at a later date.
- There will be no interview for category ‘D’.
- A combined merit list for all Category ‘D’ posts will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in Phase-I (Written Examination) and Phase-II (Written Examination).
