The Peddapalli Judicial District, established on 2 June 2022, was carved out of the united Karimnagar by the Hon’ble High Court of Telangana. It comprises 14 courts, including three District Courts, three Senior Civil Judges Courts, and eight Junior Civil Judges Courts, functioning across seven complexes in five locations such as Peddapalli, Godavarikhani, Manthani, Sulthanabad, and Nandimyadaram. Covering 32 police stations, the district is well-connected by major railway lines, the Hyderabad-Ramagundam State Highway, and three RTC depots in Godavarikhani, Ramagundam, and Manthani.

Known for NTPC Ramagundam, Singareni, FCI, and private cement factories, Peddapalli is an industrial and agricultural hub. The River Godavari and SRSP command area enrich its paddy, cotton, and maize production, with its cotton globally renowned for quality. Historical sites like the Dhulikatta Buddhist Stupa and Ramagiri Qila, along with shrines like Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy at Odela, enhance its cultural significance.
