Jaipur Metro-II Court Recruitment 2026 (eCourts.gov.in) New Notification

As per notification P.1(3)NYAY/2020 dated 5th June 2020 by the Government of Rajasthan, the Judgeship of Jaipur Metropolitan was bifurcated into Jaipur Metropolitan-I and Jaipur Metropolitan-II. In Jaipur Metropolitan-II, a Principal District Judge’s Court and a Chief Mobile Magistrate’s Court were established. Additionally, 18 special courts of District Judge (DJ) cadre, 12 courts of Additional District Judge, 16 courts of Additional Chief Mobile Magistrate, 20 courts of Mobile Magistrate, and 16 courts for handling cases under the NI Act were transferred from the former Jaipur Metropolitan Judgeship. Shri Ashutosh Kumar Mishra was appointed as the first District and Sessions Judge.

Currently, the Jaipur Metropolitan-II Judgeship comprises 98 courts, including a special metropolitan magistrate court for a pilot study. According to the 2011 Census, Jaipur is the most populous district in Rajasthan, ranking first among the state’s 33 districts.
