The District Court was established in 2022 and serves as a key judicial institution in the region. The district is home to a total of nine courts, including two District Courts, one Fast Track Special Court dedicated to the speedy resolution of cases involving rape and offences under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, and one Senior Civil Judge Court.

Additionally, the district has four Junior Civil Judge Courts and one Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate (JFCM) Special Mobile Court. These courts collectively ensure efficient justice delivery, catering to various legal matters ranging from civil disputes to sensitive cases requiring urgent attention.
