The District and Sessions Court of Bhilwara, one of the oldest in Rajasthan, was established in 1948, just a year after India’s independence. The first District Judge was Hiralal Karan Puria, and since then, 43 District Judges have served here. Currently, Sh. Ram Singh Meena holds the position of District Judge.

Bhilwara Judgeship now has around 39 courts, including 16 local courts, 6 special courts, and 17 outline courts across 9 talukas. Special courts include the Labour Court, MACT Court, NDPS Court, Family Court, ACD Court, and Consumer Court.
