The Jagtial Judicial District was carved out of the erstwhile united Karimnagar District, with the District Court at Jagtial being established on 2nd June 2022. This newly formed judicial district was created to streamline legal proceedings and improve access to justice for the residents of the region.

The Jagtial Judicial District houses a total of 11 courts, which include three District Courts, two Senior Civil Judge Courts, and six Junior Civil Judge Courts. These courts cater to various legal matters, ensuring efficient and timely resolution of cases within the district.
