Kheri Court Recruitment 2025 (eCourts.gov.in) New Notification

The Kheri Judgeship was established on 13 September 1955, previously part of the Sitapur Sessions Division. Initially, Kheri had two permanent courts: the Court of Munsif and the Court of Civil and Sessions Judge, with the District Judge of Sitapur operating a camp office there. The Civil Court building, constructed in 1932, had five courtrooms and essential offices, expanded in 1980 with a 12-courtroom complex. An outlying court at Tehsil Mohammadi was set up in 1993 with Civil Judges posted.

Currently, Lakhimpur-Kheri has a District & Sessions Court, a Family Court, and outlying courts at Mohammadi and Nighasan, staffed by 32 Judicial Officers and 292 employees. It is supported by three Bar Associations: Lakhimpur Kheri, Mohammadi, and Nighasan.
