The District Court building, a heritage structure, is beautifully designed and is located at Hanuman Square, a prime location in the city. The building has housed the District Court since around 1964.

Notably, former Chief Justice of India Hon’ble Shri R.C. Lahoti hails from Guna. He started his legal career after enrolling as an advocate at the Guna Bar. His younger brother, Hon’ble Shri K.K. Lahoti, who served as the Acting Chief Justice of the Madhya Pradesh High Court, also hails from Guna. His contribution to the judiciary reflects the rich legal heritage of the region.
