Lakhisarai Court Recruitment 2025 (eCourts.gov.in) New Notification

The Lakhisarai Judgeship was established on 20th September 2014. It was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Justice of Patna High Court, Sushree Rekha Manharlal Doshit, in the presence of the Hon’ble Inspecting Judge of Munger Judgeship, Mr. Justice Ahsanuddin Amanullah, Judge of Patna High Court. Sri Ram Shreshtha Roy was the first District & Sessions Judge of Lakhisarai, having joined on 20th September 2014. The current District Judge, Sri Madan Kishore Kaushik, is the second in succession.

Prior to the establishment of the Lakhisarai Judgeship, the Sub-Divisional Judiciary Court was established in Lakhisarai on 2nd May 1987. This court was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sri Lalit Mohan Sharma, Judge of Patna High Court. On 13th April 2015, the Sheikhpura Sub-Divisional Judiciary Court was carved out from the Lakhisarai Judgeship to become a separate District Court.
