Moga Court Recruitment 2024 (eCourts.gov.in) New Notification

Moga derives its name from Moga Singh Gill, a prominent figure in the Gill community. In 1901, with the arrival of the railway, the farmland belonging to Sardar Moga Singh transformed into a city, surpassing neighboring towns like Salina, Badhni, Zira, and Dharamkot. It evolved into a trading hub for tea, transported by train, earning it the moniker “Moga Chah Joga,” signifying its association with tea trading during that era.
