Kheda Court Recruitment 2024 (eCourts.gov.in) New Notification

The District Court of Kheda at Nadiad was established on 1 January 1926, following its bifurcation from the Ahmedabad Judicial District. The first Principal District & Sessions Judge of Kheda was Mr. M.I. Kadri. The court is located on Kapadwanj Road in Nadiad, with the current building dating back to its construction in 1925-26 at a cost of ₹2,10,000. Initially, it housed the District and Sessions Court, Senior Civil Court, Civil Court (Junior Division), and Judicial Magistrate First Class.

On 19 March 2006, Kheda District was divided into Kheda and Anand Districts. Today, Kheda District has ten Taluka Courts: Kheda, Matar, Mahemdavad, Dakor, Thasra, Kapadwanj, Kathlal, Mahudha, Vaso, and Galteshwar at Sevaliya, with Nadiad serving as both the Taluka and District Headquarters.
