In 2023, Amroha city’s estimated population is 2.72 lakh, with a literacy rate of 63.88%. Its industries include pottery, handloom weaving, and carpets. The district borders Bijnor, Moradabad, Sambhal, and the Ganga, beyond which lie Bulandshahr, Ghaziabad, and Meerut.
