The district court of Pasighat was first established on 11 June 2013 as an Additional District and Sessions Court. At that time, Shri Ito Basar was appointed as the first Additional District and Sessions Judge in Pasighat at the D.C Complex. Later, the court was shifted to Gumin Nagar in Pasighat in October 2014.
Pasighat saw the establishment of its first District and Sessions Court in August 2019. Smti. Jaweplu Chai was appointed as the District and Sessions Judge on 5 August 2019. The current judge of the District and Sessions Court in Pasighat is Shri Tageng Padoh.
