The Lower Dibang Valley district is an administrative district in the state of Arunachal Pradesh in North Eastern India. Roing serves as the district headquarters. The district derives its name from the mighty river Dibang, which flows through its heart and eventually merges into the Brahmaputra.
Lower Dibang Valley district is bordered by the Dibang Valley district to the north, the Lohit district to the east, the Mc. Mohan Line to the east, the Upper Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh to the west, and the Tinsukia district of Assam to the south.
