Sonbhadra Court Recruitment 2024 (eCourts.gov.in) New Notification

The Government of Uttar Pradesh, through notification no. ‘Nyaya/Aya-Vya-Niyojan/Anubhag’ dated 21 October 1989, established four courts in the Sessions Division of Sonbhadra: District and Sessions Court, Civil Judge Court, Chief Judicial Magistrate Court, and Judicial Magistrate Court. It was directed that the officer appointed as District and Sessions Judge, Sonbhadra, would also function as the ‘Officer on Special Duty’ (O.S.D.), and all four courts were designated as ‘temporary.’ Subsequently, on 15 October 1994, these courts were declared ‘permanent’ through a notification dated 27 September 1994.

The District Court, Sonbhadra, was inaugurated on 30 March 1990 by Hon’ble Administrative Judge Dr. Jagdish Narayan Dube of the Allahabad High Court. Presently, the judgeship of Sonbhadra comprises 32 courts, including three outlying courts at Duddhi, Anpara (Obra), and Gram Nyayalay Ghorawal, along with two Special Judicial Magistrate Courts.
