Kokrajhar Court Recruitment 2024 (eCourts.gov.in) New Notification

Originally, the former Judgeship of Kokrajhar District was part of the Goalpara District, with its headquarters in Dhubri, which was under the then-District and Sessions Judge of Lower Assam District (L-A-D) with headquarters in Guwahati. The Court of Kokrajhar was established in 1951 as EAC and Magistrate Court. After some years, the Munsiff Court was established on 16 October 1954. In 1983, Kokrajhar District was separated from Goalpara District.

The C.J.M Court began its operations in 1983. The Court of District & Sessions Judges was established on 24 May 1986. The Civil Judge & Assistant Sessions Judge and Additional C.J.M Court were established in 1999. The Additional District & Sessions Judge (F.T.C) started functioning in 2001. Kokrajhar District currently has seven judicial courts that are operating smoothly.
